    Ododo salutes former Kogi governor Ibrahim Idris at 75

    Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo has felicitated with the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris on his 75th birthday anniversary.

    In statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, Governor Ododo described Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as an exemplary leader and a detribalized Nigerian whose impact in the worlds of business and political leadership remain outstanding.

    Governor Ododo described the former Governor as a father whose guidance has been of immense importance in managing the affairs of the state.

    “I salute you most specially our dear father and former Governor on your 75th birthday anniversary and I pray that you continue to age gracefully as you provide the needed guidance for us and new generations of leaders in the state and our country.

    You have been a pillar of support for us since our governorship election campaign till today and we shall continue to count on you as a father who did your best for our state as the former governor,” Ododo said.

    The Governor used the occasion to call on the people of the state to emulate the virtues of the former governor while wishing him long life in good health.

    Alhaji Ibrahim Idris served as the governor of Kogi state from 2003 to 2012.
