According to former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, leaders chosen by God are more likely to succeed than those chosen by Satan.
Obasanjo believed that Satan also creates leaders, even if he insisted that God does not create all leaders.
On Sunday evening, the former president gave a speech at an interactive Zoom event called “Boiling Point Arena.”
The discussion, which was broadcast by a few private radio stations in the capital of Ogun State, Abeokuta, focused on Obasanjo’s political legacies and his evaluation of modern-day Nigeria.
Obasanjo emphasized that God has a method of preparing people for leadership roles without their knowledge, using the biblical examples of Joseph, Moses, and David.
“It depends on which side you are on,” he remarked. Even when people aren’t aware that they are being prepared for leadership, God has a method of doing it.
Let’s look at Joseph’s situation. He had dreams, and it’s possible that he had a predisposition to be a leader since in one of them, his mother and father were bowing down to him. Moses had no aspirations, yet he was also ready to be a leader.
Therefore, I will state that the majority of leaders are appointed and prepared by God, and their chances of success are larger than those who try to become leaders on their own, which may not be the actof God.
Once more, some claim that God creates all leaders, but I disagree since Satan can also create a leader.
“In the case of Job, you may recall that Satan was pacing up and down and approaching God, who was praising Job. However, Satan claimed that Job was honest with God because of what he had received from God, and he was given permission to test Job.”
“He has no salvation but he has power and the power of Satan must not be underrated,” the Ota farmer emphasized, emphasizing that Satan is real and capable of many things.
However, he claimed that leaders must get rigorous training in order to be well equipped to lead.
