    Nwabali set to leave Chippa United this summer

    South Africa Premier League club, Chippa United are expected to cash in on goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali this summer.

    Nwabali came Chippa United from Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, team, Katsina United three years ago.

    The 28-year-old is now regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in the top division of South Africa.

    The shot stopper was linked with a move away from Chippa United last summer after impressing for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.

    Nwabali, instead signed a new three-year contract, and was also made the Chilli Boys captain.

    According to South African website, Kickoff, Chippa United are prepared to sell the goalie at the end of the season to fund the arrival of new players.

    The club have also reportedly identified two goalkeepers, who will take over from him.
