In anticipation of the upcoming November governorship election, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made his way to Bayelsa State in advance of the party’s campaign council inauguration. Ganduje’s arrival on Friday was met with a warm welcome from Chief Timipre Sylva, the party’s governorship candidate in the state, as well as his running mate, Great Joshua Maciver, and other prominent party members.

This visit follows Ganduje’s earlier engagement earlier in the month when he inaugurated the party’s campaign council for the November 11 governorship election in Imo State. During that event, he called upon the people of Imo to support Gov. Hope Uzodinma’s reelection bid, emphasizing the importance of continuity in the state’s development.

Ganduje highlighted the significance of President Bola Tinubu’s selection of Sen. Bassey Otu, the Governor of Cross River, to lead the campaign council, underscoring the gravity with which the President views the upcoming election.

Photographs capturing Ganduje’s arrival in Bayelsa are available for viewing.
