    NITS’s MTL Participants in Kano on Field Study

    Participants of Master’s in Transport and Logistics (MTL) programme of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, have arrived in Kano for the 2021/2022 Field Study visit. The MTL programme is one of the long-term programmes run by the Institute.

    The exercise commenced on the morning of Monday 7th November, 2022.

    Flagging off the exercise, the Director, Transport School, Dr. Baba Ibrahim Mundi, represented by the Asst. Director and Coordinator, MTL, Mr. Moses Adeyi, assured that the exercise would go as planned and enjoined the participants to be committed, proactive and interactive throughout the duration of the exercise.

    So far, the participants, accompanied by officials of the Institute, have visited and interacted with the officials of public and private transport and logistics organisations in Kano, notably the Kano State Directorate of Road Transport Services (DRTS) (called VIO in some states), Dawanau International Grains Market Association; the Nigerian Immigration Service, Kano State Command and the Kano Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) respectively.

    The Field Visit is a week-long annual activity organised by the NITT as part of requirements for the award of Masters in Transport and Logistics (MTL).
