The new leadership of the Civil Rights Action Against Corruption, (CRAAC) has sacked its former Coordinator, Comrade John Olukayode and cleared the NCPC Boss, Rev Dr Yakubu Pam of all the allegations levelled against him by the erstwhile Coordinator.

According to the new Coordinator, Comrade Paul Katuka and his new team, the former Coordinator acted on his own without recourse to the body.

In a press conference held in Abuja at the weekend, the new leadership described the action of its sacked former Coordinator ,” as a campaign of calumny against the personality of Rev Pam”,

According to him, the NCPC boss has done so much for humanity and does not deserve such image smearing and distractions at a time when he is determined and poised to reposition the Commission for greater heights.

The Press conference was in reaction to a recent story published in a national newspaper titled, “Same faith ticket: Anti graft body ask Rev Pam to resign as Christian Pilgrim boss”.

The statement reads in part, “We are particularly excited by the position of the larger majority of our members and leaders which after our special meeting today, Saturday, November 5, 2022 concluded that the statement credited to our Coordinators is not only lacking in evidence, but also an outlandish falsehood that cannot be substantiated and devoid of all truth”.

The new CRAAC leadership further condemned totally the motives of the former Coordinator’s statement against Rev Pam. According to them,”” to us in CRAAC, there is no other meaning to the infamous statement beside it being a clear sponsored distractions against Rev Pam”.

The statement further affirmed, “it was apparently intended to de -market the remarkable progress the Commission has achieved under his leadership and set in motion the process of destroying the fabrics of his reformative agenda”.

About 13 members of the CRAAC who signed the press statement also joined in addressing the press conference
