    NELFUND MD Presents One-Year Progress Report to Nasarawa State Government, Engages Traditional, Human Capital Leaders

    The Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, paid an official visit to Nasarawa State today, presenting the Fund’s One-Year Progress Report to state leadership and key stakeholders.

    During the engagement, Mr. Sawyerr formally presented the report to His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, in the presence of Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, Deputy Governor, alongside senior government officials and other notable stakeholders. The presentation highlighted NELFUND’s achievements over the past year, ongoing initiatives, and the Fund’s impact on students and tertiary institutions across the state.

    In addition to the government engagement, the NELFUND MD/CE paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sidi Bage Muhammad I, the Emir of Lafia, where the progress report was also presented. The visit further included discussions with Hajiya Habiba Balarabe Suleiman, Director-General of the Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency, reaffirming NELFUND’s commitment to collaborative efforts in expanding access to education and strengthening human capital development.
