    Ndubueze, Onuigbo hail Tinubu, Kalu over new tertiary institutions in S’East

    Senator Patrick Ndubueze, representing Imo North (Okigwe) in the upper legislative chamber, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for creating three key federal tertiary institutions in the South East geopolitical zone, describing the gesture as a great milestone for the administration and people of the zone.

    The President had recently given assent to the bill for an Act establishing Federal University Okigwe, Imo State, Federal University of Health and Medical Sciences, Item, Abia State; Federal College of Education, Bende, Abia State.

    Deputy Speaker of the federal house of representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu sponsored the motion for the establishment of two institutions in Abia while the bill for federal University Okigwe has the imprimatur of Senator Patrick Ndubueze.

    Reacting to the milestone, Senator Ndubueze praised the Nigerian leader for granting the zone such rare privilege, describing President Tinubu as a man of great virtue. He also commended the deputy Speaker for his thoughtful actions that have opened more opportunities for generations unborn, even as he calls for greater unity of purpose and synergy among all representatives of the geopolitical zone.

    “Tinubu is a man of great virtue, he has done great for the people of Southeast, Imo and Abia states. He has done something special, comprehensive. The kind of courses we are going to do there are wonderful; artificial intelligence, nuclear technology etc., it is a total university coming with great innovation. We are so grateful to our dear president’.

    He also showered praises on the Deputy speaker for his efforts in attracting two important institutions to Abia and South east as urged for greater cooperation among southeast representatives.

    Senator Ndubueze who hinted of more achievement through his legislative interventions expressed gratitude to Almighty God for granting him the opportunity to do things that will bring him glory.

    Meanwhile, Hon. Sam Onuigbo, member of North east development Commission and member that represented Ikwuano North/ South federal constituency of Abia State in the 9th assembly has expressed immense joy for the presidential gesture. He also commended the deputy Speaker for the lasting legacy he bequeathing to Abia State beyond the current generation

    “We are celebrating with Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, on the assenting to the Acts of the National Assembly of three tertiary institutions in the South-East Geopolitical Zone by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the two institutions in Abia State were sponsored by the Deputy Speaker, while he lobbied for the Federal University, Okigwe. We also applaud senator Patrick Ndubueze. To God be the glory.”
