The National Assembly has unsealed the office of Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The office was unsealed on Tuesday morning by Alabi Adedeji, the Deputy Directorate at Arms of the National Assembly.
In a video posted on X, Adedeji said, “Today, September 23, 2025, I Alabi Adedeji, the Deputy Director at Arms of the National Assembly unsealed the office of Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan.”
FTN reports that the embattled lawmaker was in March slammed with a six-month suspension by the Senate, which also barred her from participating in all activities of the 10th Senate over her alleged misconduct when she protested against the reassignment of her seat by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on February 20.
Her suspension ended in September 2025, but she has been unable to resume her duties due to ongoing legal issues and continued opposition from the Senate leadership.
The Senator had, a week earlier, written to the upper chamber to notify them of her intention to resume duties following her six-month suspension, which the National Assembly rejected.
