NALCOMA congratulates Aluo, Enakhena on SWAN Awards

    Published on

Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA) has felicitated the Chairman of the Nigeria National League, Chief George Aluo, who will be honoured on Friday, October 31, 2025, by the national body of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) as part of the activities marking its 60th anniversary.

The body, in a release signed by its General Secretary Ahmed Usman Egye equally congratulated its President, Godwin Enakhena, who will also be honored at the event scheduled for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Package B, Abuja.

SWAN will be honoring the two sports administrators alongside over 300 other personalities for their outstanding contributions to the growth and development of sports in the country.

The duo will be presented with prestigious awards at a colourful event organized by SWAN to recognize individuals and institutions whose commitment, innovation, and leadership have advanced the sporting landscape in Nigeria.

NALCOMA praised both Aluo and Enakhena for their steadfast dedication to professionalism, transparency, and the promotion of grassroots sports.

The body described their recognition as well-deserved, noting that their efforts have inspired confidence and renewed hope in the management of Nigerian football.

Aluo, since assuming office as the NNL Chairman, has brought vibrancy and credibility to the nation’s second-tier league.

Under his leadership, the league has witnessed improved organization, better club management, and increased sponsorship opportunities, including the landmark partnership with Betpawa, a move widely commended as a turning point for the league’s financial stability and visibility.

Similarly, Enakhena has continued to reposition NALCOMA as a strong and respected body within the football ecosystem.

His leadership has led to the training, welfare improvement, and professional recognition of sports administrators and athletes across the country, while fostering unity and enhancing the technical standards of Nigerian football.”
