MTN Nigeria has commended the management of MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) for the remarkable improvement in the quality of service to customers in Enugu State.

MTN noted that the development has enabled the telecommunications company to enjoy up to 338 hours of uninterrupted power supply in its operations within the state.

The Head of Communications at MEDL, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, disclosed this to newsmen in Enugu at the weekend.

Ezeh confirmed that the commendation came from the Specialist, Power System Operations (East), MTN Nigeria, Mr. Peter Yakubu.

According to Ezeh, Yakubu described the advancement in service quality as a milestone that has positively impacted MTN’s operations and urged MEDL not to relent.

He added that the commendation underscores MEDL’s vision to deliver uninterrupted and sustainable electricity to households, businesses, and institutions in Enugu State.

Ezeh further assured customers of MEDL of the company’s commitment to achieving 24-hour electricity supply across urban centres and commercial clusters in Enugu State by 2027.

MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited is a subsidiary of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) and is licensed by the Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission (EERC) to distribute electricity within the state.
