    Money In politicians hand not theirs, belong to people—Obi

    The Presidential candidate for Labour party in the February 2023 general election,Peter Gregory Obi has charged fellow politicians to spend the money with them to uplift the standard of living of the people.

    Obi was speaking on Monday at the Grimard school of Nursing and midwifery, Ayingba in Dekina local government area of Kogi state.

    “We politicians should realise that the money in our care does not belong to us but to the people and we should spent it to uplift their standard of living.

    “The money is not our own, it belongs to the people,we are under obligation to spend it for to people”.

    He therefore made a donation of 10 million Naira to the school and promised sink a borehole that will serve the school and the host community of Ayingba.

    Earlier,the Catholic Bishop of Idah Diocese, Anthony Ademu Adaji eulogized Obis passion for education as exemplified in the performance of schools when he was the governor of Anambra state.

    “His investment in education was legendary and that reflected in the performance of students throughout his tenure as the governor”

    Obi also headed to Ankpa and Olamaboro local government areas where he also commission two mult millions boreholes to serve communities.
