Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes will be available for the club’s next three Premier League matches after the successful appeal against his recent red card. The club confirmed the news in a late Tuesday statement on their website, titled “Bruno Fernandes Update.”

“Bruno Fernandes will be available for Manchester United’s next three games following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal,” the statement read.

Fernandes received a red card for serious foul play during the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, September 29. Initially, he was set to miss crucial league fixtures against Aston Villa, Brentford, and West Ham. However, the successful appeal now clears him for selection in these upcoming games.

The midfielder was sent off after a challenge on Tottenham’s James Maddison, which had raised concerns among United fans about the impact on their team’s performance in the crucial matches ahead.
