The Kwoi Youth Progressive Association (KWOYOPA) has raised alarms over the sale of approximately 200 beds belonging to Girls Science Secondary School Kwoi by the school’s principal, Yosi Kwasau. The beds, reportedly sold to local traders for N475,000, have prompted the association to call for an investigation.

In a statement issued by KWOYOPA President Aminu Bako on Friday, urged Kaduna State Governor to step in and ensure the beds are returned to the school. The association highlighted the importance of these beds in maintaining student comfort and expressed deep concern over the principal’s actions.

Bako highlighted that KWOYOPA had previously intervened regarding the beds and is committed to safeguarding government property within their community. He stated, “We will not sit back and watch as government facilities are vandalized and sold off.”

Furthermore, KWOYOPA has called for the transfer of Kwasau from the school, arguing that her continued presence could lead to further damage and misappropriation of government resources.

The association remains determined to safeguard local government assets for the benefit of the community and is demanding immediate action to rectify the situation.
