    Kwara APC Rep wins reelection

    Hon. Tunji Olawuyi, currently representing the Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara state on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won reelection into the Green Chamber at the Saturday presidential and national assembly election across the country.

    Dr Nurudeen Bello, the returning officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the announcement at the collation centre in Omu-Aran, headquarters of the Irepodun local government area on Sunday.

    Declaring the official result, Bello said out of the 59,075 accredited voters, the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled a total of 22, 140, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 19,092.

    The Social Democratic Party (SDP), he said, polled a total 9,331.
