    Kwande people pledges unwavering support for Tinubu’s re-election

    The leaders of Kwande political bloc, comprising people of Kwande/Ushongo local government areas in Benue State, have overwhelmingly pledged their support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

    They made their position known during a visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator George Akume in Abuja, according to a statement by Akume’s Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Terrence Kuanum.

    The leader of the delegation, Chief Terlumun Akputu, expressed solidarity on behalf of the people appreciating Akume’s efforts in attracting federal projects to the area.

    A member of the delegation, Barr Vincent Uji, praised Tinubu’s inclusive governance style, citing the Renewed Hope Agenda (RHA) as a source of renewed optimism for the people of Kwande.

    He highlighted ongoing federal initiatives and infrastructural projects in Benue State, crediting Akume’s dedication and influence.

    Uji emphasised that the people of Kwande political bloc’s unity and resolve demonstrate their alignment with the current administration, promising even stronger support leading up to the 2027 elections.

    In his response, Akume thanked the delegation for their unwavering support and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring Benue State benefits from the RHA.

    He praised Tinubu’s leadership style as inclusive, visionary, and rooted in national unity and economic transformation, urging the people of Kwande to remain steadfast in their support, promote peace to foster development across the state.
