    Kogi Senator, Karimi drums support for Tinubu, assures constituents of better deals.

    The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Sunday Steve Karimi have been drumming support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.
    Addressing team of supporters who came in their large numbers to his country home, Egbe, Yagba West Local Council on Friday, declared their unalloyed support for his return to the Senate and the reelection bid of the president.
    The Senator, while prioritizing and harmonizing the demands of the people urged them to go back to their various communities to drum support for President Tinubu.
    Karimi, in his response, said that his priority is the success of Tinubu and the APC. He noted that he is not in political tussle with anyone in the state, calling on all the critical stakeholders to unite and work together towards Tinubu’s reelection bid in 2027.
    “Our priority is to ensure the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027 .I am not in political tussle with anyone whatsoever in the state. Reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a task that must be accomplished by all critical stakeholders in Kogi state.” Senator Karimi said.
    Karimi further engaged with his constituents, listening to their concerns and views on how to effectively represent them.
    He urged them to continue supporting the president commending his efforts as “tireless”, geared towards ensuring the country’s progress and the security of its citizens, despite the prevailing insecurity challenges, alleging that the escalating insecurity was aimed at undermining his administration.
    The lawmaker encouraged his constituents not to lose hope, assuring that their challenges are being discussed at the National Assembly with a view to finding swift solutions.
    ‎He also briefed them on the outcome of his meeting with the Brigade Commander in Lokoja on Wednesday concerning the prevalent insecurity in Kogi West. As a result of the meeting, he disclosed that troops will be deployed to Olle-Bunu, Jege, Odo-Ere, Idofin, and Isanlu communities, which will further ensure the security of his people
    ‎When asked about the delay in the reconstruction of the deplorable Kabba– Egbe road, Karimi explained, “The Federal Ministry of Works is awaiting approval from the Bureau of Public Procurement to commence the project. I have personally contributed N3 billion – N2 billion from my constituency allowance and an additional N1 billion – to supplement the project’s funding and expedite its completion”.
    ‎He also pledged to continue to lobby for initiatives that would advance the development and progress of the entire region.
