    Kogi APC Picks NUTChairm Comr. Joel Salifu As Running mate to Alhaji Usman Ododo

    The Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union Of Teachers, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo has been unveiled as the running mate to Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for the November governorship election.

    The former NUT Chairman was unveiled at a well attended occasion held at the Glass House, Government House.

    Unveiling the Deputy Governorship Candidate, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, described the APC team for the November governorship election as a perfect and winning team.

    Gov. Bello described the pair of Alhaji Ododo and Comr. Salifu as what Kogi State needs moving forward, urged the people of the State to buy into their aspiration as it will help in consolidation and all round development.

    Gov. Bello described the APC pair as the team to beat, expressed optimism that the APC will win overwhelmingly explaining that the Kogi State is for APC, loved by the people.

    In his remarks, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello said the choice of Comr. Joel was arrived at after a painstaking efforts adding that the APC Flagbearers were untainted in character, having the right capacity, with competence to take the State forward after Gov. Bello’s administration.

    In their separate address, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the APC Governorship flagbearer described his running mate as having all it takes to make the Governorship ticket solid and a winning team.

    In his remarks, Comr. Salifu promised to justify his nomination by adding value to the victory of the APC in the forthcoming November governorship election, thanked Gov. Bello, the Chairman and members of the All Progressives Congress.
