    Kogi 2023:Accord party’s Governoship candidate, Usman promises to create 50 millionaire across the state

    The governorship candidate of the Accord party in November 11 election in Kogi state ,Vice Admiral Jubril Usman (rtd) has vowed to create 50 millionaires across the 21 local government areas of the state if elected.

    Usman who was an Ex-Chief of Naval staff told party faithfuls in Mopa headquarter of Mopauro local government area and also in Isanlu, the headquarter of Yagba East local government area of Kogi state on Friday that he would ensure that every citizen in the state irrespective of party affiliation, religion or ethnic background enjoyed the full benefits of democracy.

    Admiral Usman was in Kogi West in continuation of his consultative tour, which had earlier took him to Konto-Nkarfe headquarter of Kogi local government area

    ” I will make sure that the resources of the state is evenly distributed. I will create not less than 50 millionaires across the 22 local government areas of the state.

    This he said he will do by creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive thereby throwing up as many millionaires as possible.

    According to him,”the era of half salaries which have been the usual practice will become a thing of the past while pensioners, women and the youths will be fully and gainfully employed”.

    Earlier, Jubril had vowed to put the issue of security, tackling perennial flooding at the forefront of his administration if elected.

    He said that his anticeedent as an accomplished security personnel who brought the Naval Base to Idah in Kogi East to improve the security architecture of the state, should convince everyone that he will do more if entrusted with the resources of the state
