Governor Nasir Idris’ election victory in Kebbi State is confirmed as the State Election Petitions Tribunal, led by Justice Ofem I. Ofem, delivers its ruling. Despite the 722-page petition by General Aminu Bande (rtd) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the tribunal upholds the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate’s win declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the March 18 gubernatorial election.
