Iwobi hopes to qualify for Europe with Fulham

    Published on

Alex Iwobi says Fulham will keep pushing hard to secure a spot in Europe at the end of the season.

The Whites overcame Nottingham Forest 2-1 at the Craven Cottage last Saturday.

Marco Silva’s side currently occupies eighth position on the table with 39 points from 25 games.

The North London club are five points off fourth position.

Iwobi stated they are ambitious and will do things step by step.

Iwobi told The Mirror, “We always take it game by game, but doing the double over big teams will definitely give us an advantage.”

“We will treat everyone with the same respect, regardless of whether the opposing team is vying for a spot in Europe or is in the relegation zone. We simply need to keep going because every day we witness the quality of training.

We all have high aspirations and proceed cautiously. However, [European qualification] is undoubtedly on our radar.
