As part of efforts to nip crimes and criminality in the bud in Kwara State, particularly at the grassroots, the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has commissioned another outpost donated by the Ilupeju community in Ifelodun local government area of the State.

    While commissioning the outpost,
the State Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr. Umar JG Mohammed, represented by ACC Awoyale Olusoji Ayodeji, acknowledged the collaborative spirit and hard work of the community members, emphasising that their support and commitment were instrumental in bringing the project to fruition.

He assured them that the NSCDC remains resolute in its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, emphasising that the new outpost would significantly assist the corps in preventing crimes in the area.

In his remarks, His Royal Highness, the Oni Ilupeju of Ilupeju, Alhaji Momodu Akande, who expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the State Commandant for approving the construction of the outpost, reiterated the community’s unwavering commitment to providing necessary support and an enabling environment for the officers who would be posted there.
