Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, has led a delegation of government agency leaders to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA, in an effort to improve cooperation within the broadcasting industry and forge strategic alliances.
The NAB event, which has as its theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future,” will take place from April 5 to April 9 and cover a wide range of topics, such as cloud visualization, artificial intelligence (AI), the creator economy, and sports production and streaming.
Prominent CEOs and directors-general from important Nigerian broadcasting organizations are with the Minister, including Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, the director-general and CEO of Voice of Nigeria (VON); Charles Ebuebu, the director-general and CEO of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC); Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, the director-general of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON); and Comrade Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, the director-general/CEO of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
