    Ijaw Elders Forum, Lagos celebrate Edwin Clark at 75

    The Ijaw Elders Forum (IEF) has applauded the tireless efforts of Chief Edwin Clark in advocating the rights of Ijaws in the Nigerian federation.

    A statement by Chief Bukazi Etete , Chairman IEF Lagos noted that Clark’s commitment to the Ijaw struggle is wort celebrating.

    “IEF celebrate the Ijaw National Leader and Statesman chief EK Clark as he turns 97 years.
    We celebrate a life dedicated to the emancipation of the Ijaw people and service to the Nation.

    “We commend you as a staunch promoter of restructuring and true Federalism. Your quest for justice, fairness and equity in Nigeria is unparalleled and worthy of emulation. While promoting national unity chief Clark has been consistent in pursing the interest of the Ijaw people and Niger Delta.

    “As we celebrate this great Ijaw Icon and national leader we pray for good health and more years of meritorious service to the nation.
