    I support Tinubu–Kwankwaso ticket for 2027- Jibrin

New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) chieftain, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has expressed preference for a potential Bola Tinubu–Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso alliance ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on Channels Television, Jibrin was asked who he would support in the next presidential race. He declared confidence in President Tinubu’s chances, while leaving the door open for Kwankwaso to join forces with the APC.

“I’m a Tinubu person, and I don’t see anything stopping him from winning in 2027. I like him, and he likes me too. In a working environment, it matters that you have a boss who likes you, and you like him as well, regardless of party affiliation,” Jibrin said.

On Kwankwaso, he stressed that the former Kano State governor has always kept his political doors open. “I’m not privy to his exact plans, but based on his past statements, the possibility of him teaming up with President Tinubu in the APC remains strong,” Jibrin added.
