    In a significant move, President Bola Tinubu posthumously conferred the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) on Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, describing her as a heroine of democracy.

    The president also conferred honours on several individuals and groups for their roles in Nigeria’s democratic struggle
