FIFA has announced the shortlists for the 2025 Marta Award and the 2025 Puskás Award, honouring the most exceptional goals scored in women’s and men’s football between 11 August 2024 and 2 August 2025.
According to a FIFA mail on Thursday, voting is now open via the FIFA.com/The-Best-FIFA-Football-Awards-2025 and will close at 23:59 CET on 3 December. Fans and a panel of FIFA Legends will determine the winners, each contributing 50% to the final results.
Fans can register on FIFA.com to vote by ranking their top three goals, with five, three, and one point awarded respectively.
This comes shortly after FIFA opened voting for other categories, including The Best FIFA Player, Coach, and Goalkeeper for both men and women, as well as The FIFA Fan Award and The Fair Play Award.

Costa Rica, 8 September 2024), Lizbeth Ovalle (Tigres v. Guadalajara, 3 March 2025), Ally Sentnor (USA v. Colombia, 20 February 2025) and Khadija Shaw (Hammarby v. Manchester City, 21 November 2024).
