Festus Keyamo Mocks ADC, Says Peter Obi Should Be Left Alone

    Published on

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo has mocked the African Democratic Congress (ADC) over the defection of presidential aspirant Peter Obi.

In a statement on Thursday, Keyamo compared the ADC to a lovesick bachelor who drove away a prized woman and then dared to abuse her for leaving.

He stated that Obi, whom he compared to a beautiful young woman, knew her worth and walked away without drama to a suitor who instantly offered her the commitment she deserved.

He wrote, “A bachelor loves a young, beautiful woman so much and thinks she’s actually the best of his girlfriends, but refuses to assure her she’d be the first wife. He proposes keeping her as his second wife or side chick.

“The beautiful woman, who knows her worth, has no time to waste waiting for this bachelor and walks away quietly to another suitor who knows her worth and assures her instantly she’d be the first wife.

“Haba! Bachelor, why not just stick with your other woman and let her be? This is just the case of Peter Obi and the ADC.”

In the analogy, Obi is cast as the high-value woman who exited a party unable to guarantee him a presidential ticket, while the ADC plays the role of the bachelor who failed to commit and is now lashing out.
