    Exposed: Suspected Scheme by Governor Fintiri to Provoke Unrest in Adamawa

    As the governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Yola, Adamawa State capital is winding up its assignment, indication has on Tuesday, emerged that the governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, is planning mayhem against the tribunal members, lawyers and litigants ahead of the verdict.

    A highly placed political source in the state has confirmed that the embattled governor, who was declared winner in a controversial circumstances being jittery over the outcome of the tribunal verdict slated for 12th September, 2023, has resulted to self help and desperate moves to ensure that he allegedly creates chaos in the state.

    According to the source in his words ” It has come to our attention of plans allegedly sponsored by Governor

    Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to procure and print fake face caps and T-Shirts branded with the pictures of Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) and give to hired political thugs and ‘miscreants’ to attack gatherings of political meetings, offices of PDP and turn around to claim that it was done by supporters of Binani.

    “This is coming on the heels of his disappointment over failure of INEC and PDP  to present witnesses at  the Adamawa State Governorship Tribunal sitting in Yola” he maintained.
