Former Women Affairs Minister Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye has stated that, in spite of being fired by President Bola Tinubu, she is still working on the issues she was involved in.
Answering concerns in an interview on Channels TV on Wednesday, Uju-Kennedy maintained that her visions were “not sacked.”
She declared, “I was fired, but my visions are still there; they weren’t fired.”
“I’ve been doing everything I used to do as the minister of women’s affairs.
“I continue to appear in court to represent those who lack the resources to hire an attorney or who are unable to defend themselves.
“All of the cases I had before I left are still being handled, and since they are very delicate, I couldn’t just leave them.”
Uju-Kennedy was relieved of her duties by Tinubu during a cabinet reshuffle in October this year.
She was among five Ministers discharged from Tinubu’s cabinet.
