The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has concluded plans to organise on-the-spot complaint resolution for electricity consumers.

The exercise, which will start with electricity consumers in Abakaliki and Afikpo districts of Ebonyi, is part of the company’s efforts to resolve its customers’ billing-related concerns.

The Group Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, told newsmen in Enugu on Wednesday that the exercise would enhance customers’ electricity experience.

Ezeh said that the three days event would be held at three different locations from Tuesday, July 22 to Thursday, July 24, 2025 between the hours of 10a.m. and 2p.m. in Ebonyi.

He encouraged customers with issues regarding their electricity bills to take advantage of the opportunity to have them resolved.

According to him, Day one of the exercise – Tuesday, July 22 – will take off by 10a.m. at EEDC Old Office (beside the Ebonyi State Ministry of Finance), Abakaliki.

He said, “Day two of the exercise – Wednesday, July 23 – the exercise will hold by 10a.m. at the EEDC GRA Service Center (opposite Democracy Estate), Abakaliki.

“While on Day three – Thursday, July 24 – the exercise will take place by 10a.m. at the EEDC Afikpo Service Centre, Amachi Road, Afikpo.

“Customers are required to come along with their recent electricity bills, receipts or proof of payments, and any other supporting documents or correspondence related to their complaints.

“The On-The-Spot Complaint Resolution is strictly focused on billing issues, and we advise customers with other concerns to visit the Customer Service Units at the District Offices and Service Centers for appropriate action.”
