Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education Dr Alabi Afees Abolore has been conferred with the prestigious title of Fellow by the Governing Council of the renowned Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors, having attained the peak of his carrier.

This was disclosed on Saturday in Ilorin, the state capital, in a statement by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Edu action, Mansurat Amuda Kainike

Expectedly, the news of the conferment, the statement added, aroused jubilation and cheers among family members, friends, associates and staff of the ministry who lauded the Commissioner for paying his dues and serving meritoriously in the profession

The entire management and staff of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, according to the statement, were all out applauding the feat achieved by their Commissioner, which they described as commendable and well deserved.

The Director Planning, Research and Statistics of the Ministry, Alhaji Jimoh Zubair, stated that “the Fellowship Award was not a surprise because Dr. Abolore has always demonstrated high level of versatility, and we therefore congratulate him on the milestone achievement.”

Also, the Director Continuing Education, Elder Joseph Babatunde Afolayan, noted that the Fellowship conferment on the Commissioner was a manifestation of his commitment and sense of professionalism, adding that it was well deserved and meritorious.

Earlier in her cheers for the Commissioner, the Acting Director Personnel Finance and Supply, Mrs Florence Balogun, had disclosed that Dr. Abolore’s elevation was a clear testimony of his dedication and hard work, praying God Almighty to grant him greater heights, strength and wisdom in all his endeavours.

Director Research and Development Dr Oguntunde, Director Tertiary Health Education Alhaji Garba Zikirullah Muhammed, Director Quality Assurance Hajiya Rhodiya Omotayo Yahya and Controller Account and Finance Alhaji Raimi Akanbi and other Deputy Directors, for their parts, also showered encomiums and massive outpour of love on the “upright, brilliant, humble and accessible Commissioner”.
