Desmond Elliot Denies Gay Rumours, Calls Them Baseless

    Published on

Veteran Nollywood actor and Lagos State House of Assembly member, Desmond Olusola Elliot, has spoken out against recent rumours questioning his sexuality. In a TVC interview, Elliot strongly dismissed the allegations, labeling them baseless and unworthy of a response.

Elliot explained, “Why would I respond to an allegation that neither increases nor decreases my life? It’s simply someone’s opinion.” He further clarified, “I am not gay” and emphasized that his focus remains on making a positive impact in people’s lives.

The 50-year-old actor also expressed concerns over the unchecked influence of bloggers and urged the government to consider regulating such platforms. His comments come after controversial blogger Gistlover included him among several public figures allegedly involved in homosexuality.
