    CLO Threatens to Expose Audio Evidence in Court Against NUPENG General Secretary

    A civil rights group based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has issued a stern warning to the General Secretary of NUPENG, Afolabi Olawale, indicating its intention to present damning audio evidence in the Federal High Court. The evidence allegedly portrays Olawale coercing and pressuring paid staff and union members into resigning from their positions under false pretenses, infringing upon their fundamental rights.

    The group, represented by Barrister Iheanyi Kingsley, Executive Director of Right for Human Dignity and Justice (RHDAJ), emphasized the importance of upholding justice and preventing the exploitation and mistreatment of Nigerian workers. They decried the actions of NUPENG, asserting that no individual should endure humiliation or victimization, especially at the hands of a union meant to safeguard their interests.
