Director of Football at Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, Chief Alloy, has praised the Nigeria National League (NNL) and its headline sponsor, Betpawa, for their Locker Room Bonus partnership ahead of the 2025/2026 football season.

Chief Alloy described the collaboration as a forward-thinking initiative that reflects the foresight of the NNL board in driving fairness, inclusivity, and improved welfare for clubs and players across the league.

“The Locker Room Bonus partnership is not just an incentive package; it is a strong message that Nigerian football can be run with transparency, creativity, and fairness,” he said. “The NNL board deserves commendation for creating an enabling environment where clubs can compete on a level playing field, while players are directly motivated and rewarded.”

He further stressed that initiatives like this are critical in building trust among stakeholders and in laying the foundation for a more professional and competitive league structure.

Chief Alloy urged other corporate bodies to emulate Betpawa by investing in Nigerian football, noting that partnerships of this nature have a lasting impact on the growth and visibility of the league.

“With the right support and consistent innovations, the NNL has the potential to become one of the most attractive leagues in Africa. Betpawa and the NNL have taken a bold step in the right direction, and this is worthy of commendation,” he concluded.
