The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Mr. Edward Percy Masha, has dismissed rumors claiming he called for a boycott of today’s Local Government elections across the state’s 23 Local Government Areas. In a recent interview in Kafanchan, Masha clarified that his office did not issue or endorse any such directive.

While inspecting sensitive electoral materials at the SIECOM office in Kaduna, Masha noted the absence of important result sheets, labeling it an anomaly. He has previously expressed concerns regarding potential manipulation by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in relation to alterations in the SIECOM election guidelines that might impact the announcement of results.

Masha urged PDP members to engage actively in the elections and to uphold peace during the electoral process.
