Organisers of Big 5 Construct Nigeria say the event would provide a gateway to Nigeria’s estimated $108 billion construction market. The three-day construction and infrastructure exhibition is scheduled to hold from September 22 to 24 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, with more than 10,000 visitors, over 170 exhibitors and participants from more than 20 countries expected to attend.
Its expected to bring together construction companies and manufacturers with government officials, investors,
developers, buyers and other key industry decision-makers.
Julius Berger said its participation would focus on showcasing its expertise while exploring opportunities for collaboration in infrastructure development, commercial construction, housing, industrial facilities and energy-related projects.
The company is also expected to highlight its portfolio of landmark projects and growing capabilities in innovative construction solutions, industrial development, building technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition, a senior official in Julius Berger’s Strategic Business Development Unit, Filipe Lopes, described the event as an important platform for strengthening partnerships and advancing innovation in Nigeria’s construction sector.
He said the exhibition offers Julius Berger a chance to engage stakeholders, present its capabilities and explore solutions capable of delivering greater value to clients.
Lopes added that the company views the event as an opportunity to reinforce strategic partnerships and take part in conversations shaping the future of construction in Nigeria.
During the exhibition, Julius Berger is expected to engage government agencies, developers, consultants, manufacturers and investors as it seeks new opportunities for collaboration and project delivery.
Industry analysts said the company’s participation aligns with its strategic focus on innovation, operational excellence and sustainable growth. According to them, the exhibition could enable Julius Berger to deepen relationships with existing clients while opening avenues for new business partnerships and expanded market reach.
The organisers described Big 5 Construct Nigeria as a major business platform designed to connect exhibitors with decision-makers, buyers and industry leaders, while creating opportunities to generate business leads, expand market presence and forge strategic partnerships.
A key feature of the exhibition will be the Big 5 Talks, a series of Continuing Professional Development-certified sessions delivered by industry experts. The sessions will cover architecture and design, project management, construction technology, sustainable building materials, cost management and emerging trends shaping the built environment.
For Julius Berger, participation in the exhibition underscores its ambition to remain at the forefront of innovation in Nigeria’s construction industry, while contributing to the country’s infrastructure development agenda.
