The atmosphere at the Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) in Edo State has drastically changed as the 30th BCGS Ladies Open Championship tees off from October 9–12, 2025, at the golf course, GRA, Benin City.
The championship, tagged “Golf and Groove,” is organized by the Ladies Division of BCGS and will feature keen competition and lots of side attractions at the prestigious BCGS golf course, known as the home of golf and hospitality in Nigeria.
This annual tournament aims to foster unity, build partnerships, and provide lady golfers with a platform to showcase their skills.
Both ladies and men golfers have begun arriving in Benin City for the four-day championship, which will feature about two hundred golfers from various golf clubs across Nigeria.
BCGS, known for doing things in style, is fully prepared to host visitors—especially newcomers—who will experience the golfing hospitality of a club widely regarded as the best in Nigeria.
Under the leadership of Lady Captain Stella Ajayi, a promising and entertaining event, coupled with keenly contested action, has been arranged by the host, ensuring the ladies enjoy an even better experience than in previous years.
According to the organizers, golfers are enjoined to get ready to “golf and groove.”
