Atletico Madrid emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Sevilla. The match saw Colombian midfielder Leicy Santos opening the scoring for Atletico in the 35th minute. Rasheedat Ajibade’s apparent goal in the 48th minute was disallowed due to an offside ruling. Toni Payne then extended Atletico’s lead in the 55th minute with her second goal of the season. Despite Sevilla’s efforts, they could not overcome the deficit. Leicy Santos sealed the victory with Atletico’s second goal in the 72nd minute. In the midst of the action, a question arises: was Ajibade offside? Picture 2 may hold the answer.
