Anthony Joshua, the Nigerian-born British heavyweight boxer, is eager to settle his long-standing rivalry with fellow British boxer Tyson Fury sooner rather than later. Despite years of banter and near-agreements, a bout between Joshua and Fury has yet to materialize.

Currently, 35-year-old Fury is preparing for a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in December, while 34-year-old Joshua is gearing up for his IBF world title fight against Daniel Dubois on September 21. If both emerge victorious in their upcoming matches, it could set the stage for a highly anticipated unification bout between the two.

Reflecting on the prolonged wait for the matchup, Joshua emphasized, “It’s a fight that’s been brewing for a long time. I can’t wait until I’m 50 to fight Fury because I’d have had so many wars, I can’t sit around and wait, I’ve got to continue to fight.”

With both boxers still at the peak of their careers, anticipation is high for what promises to be a monumental and potentially record-breaking showdown in the world of boxing.
