In the bustling Wuse Market situated in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), yet another fire scare was narrowly avoided on Thursday. Fortunately, no lives were lost, and traders’ property remained unharmed.

According to a statement released by the Abuja Investments Company Limited, the fire broke out around 7:30 pm within one of the market’s restaurants. Thanks to the prompt response and adept management by the Fire Service, Commissioner of Police, and AICL GMD, the situation was swiftly brought under control.

“The fire, originating from a restaurant, has been successfully contained. We urge the public to remain composed and carry on with their activities and business ventures,” the statement reassured.
