    Anambra 2025: Ebube Muonso refutes candidate endorsement, clarifies position

    Spiritual Director, Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Fr. Emmanuel Obimma has clarified his position on the upcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election.

    He emphasized that he remained impartial and would not endorse any candidate.

    The fiery priest had been reported as endorsing candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu.

    But speaking in an Easter Message, Obimma, popularly called Ebube Muonso reiterated his primary concern for the state’s progress and the protection of lives.

    He underscored his efforts in addressing insecurity in the state, as well as commitment to well-being of the State and its people.

    “I’m not comfortable when a system is corrupt.

    “My duty as a priest is to speak out against injustice and corruption, and to cry out when things are not going right,” he said.

    The Catholic cleric urged the people to exercise their franchise by voting best candidate as their next governor.

    “Let Ndị Anambra choose their governor. Whoever wins, I will continue to pray for them, as they are all my sons.

    “My advise to all is to continue praying for the state Anambra’s fate is in God’s hands.

    “All I want is the progress of the state and the protection of lives,” he stressed.

    Ebube Muonso further charged Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, praying God to keep him safe.
