Daniel Amokachi, a former Nigerian international, has urged Victor Osimhen to join the Premier League.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Osimhen has been connected to several Premier League teams.

The strong striker is also reportedly being pursued by several Saudi Arabian clubs and Serie A powerhouse Juventus.

Amokachi claimed that his countryman would be best served by a transfer to the Premier League.

The former Everton player added that Osimhen possesses all the qualities needed to succeed in England.

Amokachi remarked, “It would be nice to see him (Osimhen) play in the best league in the world—the EPL—because there is no doubt that he would flourish in any league that he plays in.”

“He possesses the trait; he possesses the the warrior in him. He is a player that any club in the world would love to have.”
