    Akagburuonye offers over 50 scholarship to Lorji students

    Barr. (Engr.) Success Obioma Akagburuonye, had on Sunday, February 8, 2026, announced the award of University scholarship to more than 50 students of Lorji Community Secondary School, Aboh Mbaise, Imo State, who passed their 2025/2026 WASC/NECO examinations in flying colours.
    The ceremony which took place at the Noah’s Ark  Assemblies of God Church, Ogbor, Uvuru, Mbaise, had in attendance several groups who came to express their appreciation and unflinching support to the Imo State 2027 Governorship hopeful, Chief Success Akagburuonye.
    A man laced with the grace of God, spoke on how far the grace of God has taken by the reason of sowing into Kingdom work, and admonished the congregants to see investment in the Kingdom of God as a priority and passport to successful and peaceful achievements.
    “The God that has blessed me can also bless you if you can make yourself available for God to use you through Kingdom investment. Today, I can beat my chest and said that God has blessed me.
    “I won my case with the federal government after 20 years, but 25 people challenged the Order of Mandamus at the court of Appeal but God disgraced them all.
    “Invest in the Kingdom of God – not in any particular denominations, because you may not know the seed that God will consider to bless you. You mustn’t have much before you can give to God – the little you give God will see it, that is why He was able to identify widow’s mite.”
    Recall that Barr. Akagburuonye, an ardent Philanthropist and Real Estate Icon, had been reported as visiting the school, which is his alma mater, last year, and made a donation of N5m, for registration of the students examination, repair of some infrastructure and to staff and students welfare.
    The result of the examination was profound, as out of 87 students 74 made five credits and above. Impressed by the performance, Akagburuonye expanded the philanthropy to include scholarship, which covers payment of Jamb form, preparatory classes, University entry enrollment, and vacation jobs in his business establishments.
    The Principal of the School, Mrs Caroline Adambu Erondu, as well as the students, P.T.A., and Lorji Community leaders expressed their unlimited gratitude to Chief Success Obioma Akagburuonye, as they presented a plaque of appreciation to him. They prayed that God would continue to increase him and family.

    Also speaking, the President-General of Lorji Autonomous community, Elder Chidi Uneze, while thanking Barr. Akagburuonye, urged him not relent in supporting the school and community as the Lord continues to bless him. “Like Oliver Twist, we will continue to ask for more”, he enthused.
    He registered the apologies of the Traditional Ruler, HRH Eze Charles Uzodinma Ogudoro, Orji 111 of Lorji, for his absence.
    Some other groups made presentations of plaques and other items in appreciation of the impact Akagburuonye’s philanthropy has made in their lives and communities. Among the groups are; his classmates at Lorji Secondary School and Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Aboh Mbaise.
    Akagburuonye, a traditional title holder of Akaraugo Mbaise, Akuruo Ulo, extolled the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Uzodimma, stating that their revolutionary policies have changed the the economic, political, and social landscapes.
