The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria has urged Segun Aina, the new registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, to build on the legacy of his predecessor, Ishaq Oloyede.
The MSSN’s Lagos chapter, in a statement on Tuesday, said, “With a focus on continuity and improved examination processes, MSSNLagos emphasised the need for the new registrar, Prof Segun Aina, to prioritise transparency and integrity.”
The society acknowledged Oloyede’s exemplary service and dedication, which significantly advanced educational assessment and strengthened the integrity of Nigeria’s admissions system.
According to the MSSN, his unwavering commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent examination process had empowered countless students to achieve their academic dreams.
“The initiatives introduced have not only streamlined operations but enhanced the integrity of the system,” it added.
It urged Aina to encourage the implementation of robust monitoring systems that enhance examination integrity through the use of technology for real-time monitoring and reporting.
