    ‎Kaduna attackers won’t go unpunished, Tinubu orders hunt of perpetrators

    ‎President Bola Tinubu has described the killing of about 30 residents of Naridon Village, Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of Monday as a cowardly and unprovoked, and vowed that those responsible would face justice.

    ‎Tinubu, who strongly condemned the attack on defenceless residents of Kaduna community, describing it as a barbaric act of terror against innocent citizens.

    ‎The President’s reaction was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

    ‎“Those who seek to destabilise the hard-fought peace and security, which Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times, will not go unpunished,” the President said.

    ‎He extended condolences to the families of the victims, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and residents of the state.

    ‎The President also assured the affected communities of the Federal Government’s support as efforts continue to address security challenges across the country.

    ‎“I have directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region,” he said.

    ‎Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening the country’s security architecture.

    ‎“Our administration has an unwavering commitment to strengthening security infrastructure, equipping response personnel, and neutralising criminal networks attempting to disrupt the peace of the nation,” he added.

    ‎The President also urged residents to support security agencies with useful information that could help prevent future attacks.

    ‎“I urge our local communities to cooperate with security forces by providing actionable intelligence that would help early response efforts,” he said.
