Iranian drones on Friday pounded Mina Al-Ahmadi oil refinery again in Kuwait, triggering a fire at several of its units.
Kuwait said that the refinery was being hit on Thursday, sparking fires.
It added that firefighters on Friday were trying to control the blazes, noting that there were no immediate injuries from the attack.
The Iranian attack came as Kuwait marked Eid al-Fitr, the celebration marking the end of the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
The striking of the Kuwait’s refinery came as Iran increasingly targets energy sites in Gulf Arab states after Israel on Wednesday struck Iran’s massive South Pars offshore natural gas field in the Persian Gulf.
Recall that the war started in late February when the United States, in conjunction with its ally, Israel, pounded Iran, killing its Supreme Leader, as well as others.
The war has continued with Iran bombing several United States interests in the entire Middle East and Israel.
