Counsel to the 1st,2nd and 3rd third  respondents, were absent  in court but a staff of the Ministry of justice was represented not as counsel  when Justice Sheltu order the  defendants to be serve and  regularise service for next adjourned date for mention .

On the applicant’s side, Lawrence  Anyia , who is leading the legal team alongside ,S.S Obende ,Ugwalla  , had earlier sought an adjournment to enable the filing of a reply by defendants /respondents, which was served 23rd September, 2026 .

Following the procedural applications, the court adjourned the case to November, 10, 2026, directing that all parties ensure proper service and exchange of pending processes ahead of mention .

Mr Armstrong Ekomah approached the court  in a suit  PLD/J536/2026 challenging the Plateau State Government and Peter Nyam Gai the Former Commissioner for Lands and Survey in a disputed business percentage.

Speaking to the lead counsel, Barr.Lawrence Anyia  said that the matter came up for mention  and the court  discovered  that the three defendants were  served on seperate dates of  25th and 28th September, 2026 .

He explained that the one served on 28th September  is still  within  time so today is 26th Oct. 2026 so we urge the court  to adjourned for parties to be properly served for preparation ahead of  mention on the next adjourned date which is 10/10/2026 .

However, Hon.Justice  Sheltu has also advised that the matter should be settle out of court  considering the grey area of misunderstanding  between the two parties.
