APC postpones national caucus, NEC meetings

    Published on

The All Progressives Congress has postponed its National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings earlier scheduled for December 15 and 16, 2025.

The announcement was issued by the party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, who released the updated timetable on Sunday.

According to the new arrangement, the National Caucus will now convene on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., while the NEC meeting is set for Friday, December 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

Both events will hold at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, in accordance with Articles 12.5 and 12.3 of the APC Constitution.

Although the party did not disclose the reason for the change, insiders familiar with the development hinted that the decision may be linked to the busy engagements of the party’s National Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Party officials are said to be reorganising schedules to ensure maximum participation and proper coordination.

The meetings are expected to focus on major party decisions, internal organisation, and preparations for activities moving into the new year.

However, senior stakeholders and committee members have been informed of the new dates and are expected to attend without exception.
