    Mai Buni moves to honour Nafis Abdullahi

    Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu from Yobe State, has emerged as the top performer in the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals, held in London.

    Representing Nigeria through the Nigerian Tulip International College in Yobe, Nafisa outperformed 20,000 participants from 69 countries to claim the title of the world’s best in English language skills.

    In appreciation of the achievement, the Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni has reportedly announced plans of the state to host and reward the youngster.

    The Yobe State governor also promised to recognise 15-year-old Rukayya Muhammad Fema, who emerged overall best at the event.

    Meanwhile a former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Patami, under the administration of late President Mohammadu, had asked President Bola Tinubu to also extend the bliss of glory Aminu as he did the Falcons and D’Tigress who recently emerged winners of African women’s football and basketball, respectively.
